![3 MOST TALKED ABOUT RESTAURANTS ON THE GOLD COAST I tried out 3 of @experiencegoldcoast most talked about restaurants to see if it’s worth the hype. 1. Le Pettit Chef - I watched the world’s smallest chef tirelessly cook up a 5 course meal in this immersive dining experience. The storyline of the little chef was actually quite entertaining, but I did feel that the food didn’t quite live up to the entertaining fine dining experience, and at $169 pp, I found it a bit steep. Rating: 7/10
2. Rick Shores - Every time I go to the Gold Coast, people have mentioned about this hatted restaurant. The views are nothing short of amazing, but I did hear mixed reviews. I tried out their must-try Moreton Bay Bug Roll, as well as a few other dishes. Overall it’s not a bad Asian fusion restaurant albeit a tad pricey. Eating: 7/10
3. @restaurantlabart - This was recommended by a barista friend of mine. This restaurant actually won Queensland’s estaurant of the year, and it did not disappoint. Loved the European style bistro and relaxed vibes. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the hibachi grilled quail was a real stand out. Definitely my pick of the 3.
