Vidraru Dam at sunset is less a panorama and more a visceral epiphany, a colossus of steel sinew and poured concrete ribcage, clawing at the spine of the Făgăraș Mountains. At 166 meters tall and 307 meters long, this is no polite postcard—it’s a scar across the land, audacious and unashamed, gilded by the last exhale of daylight as if even the sun itself cannot resist tracing every brutal angle with molten gold.
