I’ve never owned a water heater that hasn’t lasted at least 20 years. All off brand names. One was even a Montgomery Wards brand.

1st yr warranty is parts & labor. After that it’s just parts, which are cheap, but the labor is where they get you.

I bought mine from Home Depot and it went bad. I called Rheem the night it went bad and I had another one the next day from HD.
