Olaplex 6 and 7 are much better! It’s bonding cream and oil! Use them before blow drying. A much better shampoo/conditioner brand is Kenra!

*correct me if I’m wrong* but planked is for people who don’t have enough protein in their hair. Some people have to much so it won’t work!

i found the opalex oil after i have straightened is amazing! just a couple drops and super shiny. the rest of their line i agree with you. felt worse

It sounds like you have high porosity hair which mean your hair thrives with protein! Olaplex can make high porosity hair look dull 🥺

Your hair may just need protein! Check for products that say “damaged hair” or for hydration look for “hydrating” (that one is more tell tell) 🙂
