i use the linux method. if you use a ubuntu flash drive, run it from the flash then find windows pw in system. it's easy about ten mins at most

ultimatebootcd is excellent collection of free tools and it includes also tool for reseting windows passwords. Tools works if disk is not encrypted

Uhh, just enable the built in admin account... It's free and takes 5 minutes. You can even reset your password with it if it's not linked to MS.

i usually boot into the recovery disk, copy cmd.exe and replace the sticky keys file and then access cmd from the login screen and reset the password

Get an ISO with Windows 10, boot from iso. Change the ease of access into a command prompt, and then type cmd commands to find it
