Everytime I go home, to the mother land, I'm reminded just how spoiled we have it in America. There are a LOT of pleasantries that we have in the states, and if you've not traveled overseas then it's really hard to describe it, it's hard to recognize it. But my parents live a very simple life. They honor their community, they honor their people. They always lead with their hearts and have always given more than they've received. It's a beautiful thing to witness. It's beautiful to see how much good their doing within their community in this small island. They have started a small Billiard Hall where they host teens and kids on the streets' to help them become pool competitors so they can stay out of trouble. They offer advice to those who seek it, and a home for those who can't afford it. So much so that the kids have begun to call my dad and mom Master' as a sign of respect and gratitude - some even calling them Mom and Dad. And like I said, they have so little, yet they give most of what they have away I have, and always will, admire their heart. It's engraved in mine as well. I'm honored to call my parents MY PARENTS . . . #family #thankful #grateful #simplelife #community #gratitude
