Freestyle libre 3: how to put it into your arm. If you are a type two diabetic, just starting out on your journey I am hoping this helps you, because when I first began, I had all the questions. To begin make sure to use alcohol swab on your arm. Where are you going to stick your device. Open up your box. The container will have a sticker that is keeping it sealed. Scratch off that seal and very carefully open it up inside will be the needle. Make sure it is there. It’s not bent. Once you know the alcohol has dried on your arm, take the device and push it up into the desired spot on your arm now very carefully pull it away from your arm as I did in the video. You are all set you will need your phone to scan a new sensor and then put it over your sensor on your arm and it will take 60 minutes for it to activate. I suggest purchasing sensor stickers that will go over the sensor device on your arm and keep it from getting snagged on stuff like your clothing or your pillow at night I typically lay on the opposite side, so I don’t risk ripping it out of my arm . There are waterproof sensor stickers as well for those that worry about being in the shower.
