As someone w/ a reactive GSD seeing another large dog off leash is VERY anxiety provoking. You should at least carry a slip lead to use around others

Honestly I dont like off leash dogs around my reactive dog either. They often try to approach her to be friendly and she goes into protection mode

Honestly when I see a dog off leash I get nervous and I’m sure it makes my dog nervous too. I’ve got a submissive very well trained dog, he’s LEASHED
