in the battle of midway USA didnt use the SB2C Helldiver they used the slow but deadly no other than the SBD dauntless

My Grandmothers brother died March 19th 1945 when the USS Franklin was struck by the Japanese. Can you do a story on that. I believe 800 died

My Grandfather was on the Enterprise at Midway. Asked him why he chose the Naval Pacific theatre & said I didn’t want to freeze my ass off in Europe😂

clarification. the lookout screamed "helldivers!" but the helldiver was a Curtis. SBC. we used Dauntless SBD at Midway. different plane, easy mistake
