Years ago, I launched Bizness Babe Army, my first women’s organization—a movement that took Chicago by storm. I poured everything into it, creating monthly workshops that helped women build thriving businesses and step into their power. It was bold, it was impactful, and it was necessary. But with that success came something I wasn’t prepared for—jealousy, hate, and envy from those who felt threatened by something that was created to uplift, not compete. Instead of standing ten toes down, I folded. I let the weight of the negativity, the pressure, and my own doubts convince me that maybe I wasn’t meant to lead this kind of movement. So, I sold and dismantled something that had the power to change lives forever. And for a long time, I carried the weight of that decision. I felt like I failed the very women I had set out to empower. But here’s what life has taught me since: Failure doesn’t exist if you decide to rebuild. Through therapy, deep mindset work, and real accountability, I realized I wasn’t done. My purpose wasn’t lost, just paused. I had to rebuild ME first before I could rebuild another community. And now, with a new heart, a clearer vision, and a deeper understanding of what it truly means to lead, I’m ready to step back in—this time, for good. So today, with an open heart and fearless spirit, I introduce Thee Girls Room—a space for healing, growth, success, and sisterhood. This is bigger than just another community; this is my legacy. My rebirth. And my promise to myself and to every woman out there who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or unsupported. It won’t be easy rebuilding this from the ground up. But I’m here. I’m standing in it. And I won’t back down this time. To my girls in Chicago and beyond—if you’ve been looking for a space to feel safe, to grow, to glow, to elevate—Thee Girls Room is for you. I just need one thing from y’all—support. Let’s do this together.
