At my shop we use something like that but it’s open on Both sides makes it easier the problem is it doesn’t do small small stuff

We use a screwdriver with some grease at the end the key hold in the grease and you can put it in with the screwdriver

I work at an engine plant for one of the big three. We have automation that compresses the springs and installs the keys on 6 valves at a time.

Dab them with grease and use a magnet to stick them on. I build garden tractor pulling engines and they use those keepers
