@Cgarcia: Same as well, and it started a couple years after I bought it BRAND NEW! Took it to Lubbock and Amarillo dealerships and said there was nothing wrong. I’ve been pissed! Said they can’t replicate the problem… WELL that is because they try to replicate in the shop rather than drive it on the street. And it only happens on HOT DAYS. I will never buy another HONDA again because of their service departments. We bought a VW and their service departments are AWESOME in both Lubbock and Amarillo

I got a 2017 Honda civic lx. The warranty covered the compressor for the AC but not the evaporator which is connected To fix the AC. 2,000$ they said

I called Honda corporate about this issue and they were no help. Dealership wants $450 to diagnose AC. Next car will be Toyota.

Unfortunately mine has ac evaporator problem, my extended warranty only covers up to 100k, so they might reject the claim. Dealer quoted me at 2k.

So my a/c was working but I still went so they could check it just in case. After they were done my a/c blew hot air and they said it wasn’t covered

Dealership did the inspection on mine and they said it was the evaporator and turns it was the condenser and they lied on the inspection.
