IF THE MCU WONT GIVE ME SCARLERSTRANGE BESTIES THEN I’LL DO IT MYSELF‼️ guys imagine becoming a marvel fan in 2021 and immediately deciding wanda and dr strange are your absolute favs and you find out they’re gonna be in a movie together. everyone’s excited, wanda and strange r gonna be friends and we’re thinking up theories of who this villain is gonna be. just for them to rush tf out of wanda’s scarlet witch arc?i was PISSED, but lowkey had bigger fish to fry bc of exams. just for a few years later, some fired writer from X MEN 97 leaks the OG plot where wanda and strange were in fact friends bc he brought her to kamar-taj straight after westview? and they fought NIGHTMARE together?? and they both mentored and protected america?? and wanda became the scarlet witch at the end which 1. would’ve made sense and 2. been emotionally devastating for both the audience and the characters bc this is their friend who was unfortunately led astray by her grief and the temptation for her family back bc she’s being manipulated by the darkhold, chthon and likely even nightmare himself. honestly the darkhold just felt like a cheap cop out bc michael waldron, the writer, admitted that when covid hit and he was offered the rare opportunity for a last minute rewrite he changed everything because “why should we let some other movie get the greatest villain ever” watching that documentary made me feel so vindicated. wanda even admits in that scene w stephen that she can help america bc she knows what it’s like to be hunted for powers she can’t control, and earlier in that same scene, stephen invites her into kamar-taj. the evidence that this movie was changed for the worst is HEAVY😭 and don’t even get me started on how everyone was mad at strange for not helping wanda for the YEAR she studied the darkhold bc that made no sense too! as a sorcerer, people come into kamar-taj bc they’re lost, broken and in need of guidance, like he was in his 1st movie. he was offered that and i imagine there’s still new recruits in kamar-taj after him. as a doctor, he absolutely would’ve wanted to help her, or at the very least, keep a multiversal threat contained. if not for a friend, then for a patient, literally everybody thought they’d be fighting alongside one another. i remember kevin feige answering this by saying “she didn’t go to kamar-taj bc we didn’t want strange mansplaining her powers to her” ?? would it have been mansplaining or would it have been a doctor and sorcerer who’s literal job is to help and intervene crises like this, helping a teammate in need? he’s fond of peter bc they “saved the world together”, does that not apply to wanda? even one of the Agatha All Along producers told us the wandavision end credit scene had Strange opening a portal in front of her, like? as well as the actors talking about how annoying it was bc the scripts were constantly changed. this is getting too long but all in all, they’re my favs and we were robbed of their friendship, i want dr strange and wanda fans to stop fighting like guys pls we r cousins😵‍💫 #doctorstrange #wanda #scarletwitch #agathaharkness #vision
