This Yuka Mini 800 series robotic mower was sent in to me to test out from Mammotion. I have refused any paid commission for this video, so I can give you my honest opinion on it. And I have to say, this little mower impressed the hell out of me. Not only the price, size and design of the machine. But the solid build quailty and performance of the mower. UK Site https://uk.mammotion.com/?ref=Dean EU Site https://eu.mammotion.com/?ref=Dean%20Doherty US Site https://mammotion.com/?ref=znumfeil I finished filming this video 3 weeks ago and the mower has been working away at this house since to a set schedule. The only issue iv had was the charging station, locating it under the metal roof on this shepherds hut was not ideal. It sometimes lost position and showed up as outside the workers. Meaning it would not start the schedule. But moving it 3 feet foward qured this issue. Apart from that, this Yuka Mini has not missed a beat since I mapped out this area. Even when working under 12ft tall Laylandii hedges that run all the way around the back of the property and many large overhanging trees. The cut and finish of the lawns is outstanding, especially the perfectly straight lines it leaves behind. It can manage a slopped lawn easily, and even uneven or gravel paths. I know this a more basic machine to the Luba Mini, but for the price of this machine and the amout of ground it can cover, I simply could not fault it. Setup tips I would recommend before and when setting up a robotic lawn mower. 1. Wifi You need wifi coverage in your garden. Make sure you have some WiFi coverage outside, especially where you locate the charging station and RTK station. So you may need to setup an extender beforehand. You don't need total coverage, but you will need some. 2. RTK and Charging station location. Locate these in open areas and not under metal roofs or tress. It won't stop the mower, but it can cause interference that can cause random minor location problems. But in saying that, iv only now noticed these problems since putting it a set schedule. 3. Update. Once setup and powered on, take it inside to update where the wifi is strongest. This is just for speed and to make setup faster. Once running it can update itself, but you want get it running straight away when you set it up. Mammotion constantly improve on the mowers, and the app. Showing how they are striving to perfect the mowers how customers want them. I find the updates amd cool new features they release proves this. 4. Set the cutting height high for the first cut. When it's ready to mow, if you set the height very low and there are any stones or areas of dirt that the blades might hit, you could blunt your new blades. Best to mow tall first so you can be sure to see and remove and objects that could be damage. 5. Keep watch for the first mow. Your first boundary settup will never be perfect, so be prepared to make small edits. Which you can easily do, without remapping the while area. But for the first time it follows a boundary line and no go zone, keep and eye out in case it drops of an edge, gets jammed or digs up a flower bed when turning. If you see it first pass, you can quickly edit it so it never dose it again. 6. Point the charging station towards your home or an area you would like to keep an eye on. The live feed camera means you can open the robots camera from anywhere, I found it very useful if I want to check on my property when away. So set it up so you can benefit from it. @Mammotion Tech #mammotion #luba #lubamini #lawn #grass #garden #lawnmower #mower #lawnmowing #mowing #robotic #roboticmower #roboticlawnmower #yuka800 #800 #ad #gift #DIY #tools #powertool #diy #makita #powertools #repair #deandohertygreaser #deandoherty #repairs #cooltool #recommendedtools
