Have the property logged. You will get paid for the trees that they take. With the price of lumber the price of trees should have went up also.

Sawn timber needs to be dried for a long period if not in a kiln.

the lumber u buy has been dried. if u try to use wood that u cut down today. your house will have crooked walls, roof, floors

If you want a port sawmill in a couple months you should order it now they’re on back order 😬 (3 to 6 months out on most) unless you can find used.

Lumber for housing has to be graded to pass building inspection. The lumber you buy has a grade stamp on it. It will also shrink a lot as it dries.
