I’ve always seen it on the right, if it’s ever on the left, I WILL click cancel on accident, and I WILL make the same mistake on the same

uh no, if I'm EXPECTING to click OK, I look at OK and click. 1 visual fixation vs 2. it goes on the left.

we ask Yes/No questions, not No/Yes questions. Put the affirmative on the left always.

No, I would say the eye fixates on “okay”, not the position of it. At least for me. So it takes 3 saccades anyway and it’s counterintuitive

It should be in the most useful place. If ok does something dangerous, it should be on the right so people make less mistakes.

If eyes move from left to right (reading language specific), wouldn’t you start at OK and then just click it?

Lazy Opia :
the thing is, since people expect it on the left, the eyes will go L, R (really?), check L, check R, check R again before clicking

no, if "okay" is selected 90% of the time then it should be first for fewer average visual fixations

it should be on the right. always. everyone in the comments is trying to use their rational mind, they're not at a screen w/ the buttons

from my own experiences in most cases its on the left to change from the common format is to make mistakes for those who choose by muscle memory
