Suggest buying a 35-50 gallon tank or even better a 100 gallon stock tank for your turtle. He’s gonna be small now but get bigger and need more space

I got my turtle a big gallon, a normal sized one for her, but she hates deep water, she panics and tries to go out, even though she has a basking place, but if I make the water shallow just 1.5x her height she’s chilling

I just got a turtle from my uncle he had a renter that wasn’t paying rent so they evicted him and he left the turtle there.
