Yes! Clarity. Thank you for your explanation. I was diagnosed with HSV 1 just two years ago. (Bloodwork) I Never have had a symptom or outbreak.

HSV-1 is also seen in a lot of contact sports like wrestling!! They often refer to it as “mat herpes” but it is the same thing!

the stigma/mental toll effects people saw more than a physicality of the virus. IMO the common cold is more annoying and normalized

I have HSV-1 and I didn’t find out until after I had my first child and until she was also diagnosed with it. I’m assuming my youngest has it too
