June of 2025, my 2024 @gmc 1500 Denali Ultimate broke down on the highway due to an engine failure that was connected to a factory recall. A new engine had to be installed. At that time, it had approximately 16,000 miles on it. On February 26, 2026, the truck had another engine failure. Now at 23,000 miles. This is absolutely unacceptable! It seems to be the same or similar issue as before. I won’t know for sure until next week when it will be diagnosed. I will keep you guys posted. Would you keep this truck? And if not, what would you replace it with? I’m considering a heavy duty truck and it comes down to the GMC 2500 Denali Ultimate or the Ram 2500 Limited Mega Cab. #gmc #gmcdenali #recall
