The manosphere influencer has now been accused of crimes against fashion. Andrew Tate has gone viral again, this time for the “purple blouse and capri pants” he was wearing when he was arrested in Miami on Saturday. Comedian Grace Campbell, who has released a full breakdown on Tate’s arrest fits, branded his latest ensemble, “super-basic” and an “outfit that a mannequin at Dorothy Perkins would literally spit in and be like, ‘please do not put me in that’.” She went on to accuse Tate of ruining capri pants “for all of us this summer”.  Despite being ridiculed in the early 2000s, the short-legged trousers are back in fashion this year. Bedfordshire Police said Tate, 39, and his brother, Tristan Tate, 38, were arrested in Miami on Saturday in connection with a UK police investigation. The men face 38 new charges, bringing the total number of charges against them to 59. Malcolm McHaffie, head of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime Division, said: “We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child. “These charging decisions followed receipt of a further file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police and bring the total number of alleged victims in this case to seven.” The CPS said the offending is alleged to have taken place between July 2010 and August 2017. He added that the CPS had requested the extradition of the Tates from the US and that they had been “arrested and await extradition proceedings to the UK”.
