I did the same thing and because of this the psychologist had us come in for a second evaluation since he was so perfectly behaved at his appointment!

My sons doctor did the same thing! He wasn’t diagnosed til he was 11 because of it. Pisses me off just thinking about it

My son just got evaluated with ASD and his pediatrician is v conservative she wanted us to get him evaluated soon .early intervention is better .

Yesss! So true. My daughter is 4.5 and I’ve been fighting for a whole year to get her evaluated correctly not just based off one interview.
