![📍 @Vivo Amigo Cardiff Vivo Amigo is one of Cardiff’s well loved restaurants and they are now launching a brand new menu. As the sister restaurant of @Stella Italia Cardiff, Cardiff’s first Indian-Italian fusion, you can expect to find some delicious Indian-Mexican fusion food here at Vivo Amigo. We had a bunch of their new items and everything was delicious. We had: - Pulled beef taquitos - Chilli paneer tacos - Chilli wings - Seasoned fries - Roti taco murgh methi - Roti taco chana aloo - Peanut Butter chicken curry - Chicken tinga - Buddha bowl I have to say, the starters were a stand out for me. The pulled beef taquitos were my favourite item hands down, I could have eaten 10!😍 I’m not a fan of chicken wings but I devoured these, the flavour was fantastic and the meat was clean and cooked well. The seasoned fries were also delicious! I know they’re just fries, but the seasoning was elite! The paneer tacos are a must try, perfect example of the Indo-Mexican fusion on offer at Vivo Amigo. The mains were just as good though, with both meat and veg options so there is something for everyone. They have classic Indian and Mexican offerings alongside the fusion so the options are vast! The only thing that wasn’t for me was the peanut butter chicken curry, I don’t like peanut butter so I’d skip this next time. Had to finish off with some gulab jamun and ice cream - my favourite dessert EVER!🤩 The staff at Vivo Amigo (and Stella Italia) are absolutely fantastic, so attentive and friendly - it is always a pleasure. I first visited Vivo Amigo when they first opened a few years back and I think their fusion ideas are just genius and have been executed very well! Thank you for having us in to try the new menu.
