I wonder if she was diagnosed at that point with bipolar disorder? I did not meet her, but I was in line to see the movie children of the corn. I noticed three people behind me and one of them looked familiar. I was stationed in Hawaii from 80 to 86. Can you believe I never went to Waikiki Beach but maybe two times? When you live there, you don’t want to be where the tourist are. I saw Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. I was actually looking at the short man next to him. And commented to a friend that guy sure is short. And he was puzzled because I didn’t notice that was probably because of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. lol.. Kristy was struggling then due to her behavior at the movie theater.. she kept smoking, and the usher kept telling her to put out the cigarette. No excuses given. I feel like this is part of bipolar disorder. When you’re in a manic state, you do not follow rules. You become like a narcissist. But then depression it’s because what goes up must come down. I was diagnosed after I got out of active duty and I was in the ANG. It’s a rough disorder. The extreme highs and the extreme lows are hard for everyone that knows I loved one with this disorder.. just letting you know I witnessed her rule breaking.. only later when I was telling my sister, she said Kristy McNichol was diagnosed with bipolar and was actually working as a cable or satellite dish sales person. I’m glad she’s still alive. I’m glad I am as well. I’ve made three attempts on my life. I’m in therapy regularly, and I finally found a medication that my body can tolerate. I don’t blame you for doing your job. If you would’ve hurt her, I guarantee you she would’ve made sure something would’ve happened. I know she was problematic. I believe it was because of her bipolar.
