Yes this is so true. It can be hard not to yell when frustrated or overwhelmed but it really has its benefits to try and keep our cool.

I get down at eye level and EXPLAIN my “stop”, “no”, and “can’t”. So I explain, “I said no BECAUSE - x, y, z reasons.” Not just “because I said so.”
