I use cover pots all the time. If the plant seems happy in its nursery pot, you don't need to repot right away.

This is what I do! Or put water in the pot then bottom water plants 😁 If I have to repot I buy another plastic pot a size up 😅

i have no drainage in all mine😏 every plant is in plastic nursery pots. makes watering so easy. no mess 😁

The problem I've found with Nursery Pots is that many plants are root bound when you purchase them. 🥺

sitting water might lead 2 root rot or roots that Leave the pot, but thats only rly for a lot of water its still better 2 have a hole

I take some small rocks/gravel put them at bottom of pot for drainage then add dirt over when I have a pot w no holes works well
