not true it only kills the eggs. adults still live and keep laying eggs. so you must keep adding every other day or so to get rid of all the eggs

Note: yes this is safe on all plants. But anything in large amounts is harmful so make sure the ratio is 1:4 ! 1 part Peroxide & 4 parts water 🤟
