Our school does school supplies for kids. We don’t ask parents for anything. It’s cuz we are a poor, Title I district with no stores.

I know when I ask for brand specific things, it’s so they last longer and is usually very specifically for the individual child, not shared stuff.

A teacher I taught with asked for 24-pack Crayola specifically so they all had enough for coloring diagrams and all had the same colors.

Students use my felt tip markers to trace work to put up. Students use my dry erase to write on their smal boards.

Only thing class related I often ask for is tissues lol. Some kids eat them I swear 🤪 I don’t even mind if a parent asks for it to only be theirs.
