I work with Bosnian refugees & we have an interpreter- so many people go “tell them…” I remind people to talk to the person. Not the interpreter.

I use translaters at my job. I always speak directly to the patient/Designate. I only speak to the Translator to start my session and end it.

Exactly! I work with students who are visually impaired and my mom used crutches and people addressed me with their ?s! Idk I’d say, ask them!
