They'll get REALLLLLYYYY bushy, too. In the 90's, my parents neglected to harvest theirs, and I'd sit my cat on the floofy bush. 😂

i saw them often in our garden as a child. the rule of thumb was to harvest them before a specific time to avoid them being bad to eat.
