Creamy Afghani Chicken Ingredients: For Chicken 600 gms chicken 1 tbsp garlic chopped 4 tbsp yogurt 1 tbsp lemon juice 3 tbsp coriander chopped 2 green chilies chopped 1 tsp salt 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tbsp oil 3 tbsp butter For White Sauce 2 tbsp butter 1 tbsp flour 2 garlic chopped 1 small onion chopped 1 cup milk Half cup thick cream 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp chili flakes 1/4 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp parsley/ coriander 4 tbsp Mozzarella cheese Coriander and chillies flakes for garnish Marinate the chicken with all the mentioned ingredients, in a pan add oil and butter, cook on medium high heat on both sides for 7-8 minutes until fully done, then cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium low heat, set aside. In a another pan make white sauce, add butter,flour, stir 2-3 minutes,add garlic, onion,cook 6-7 minutes , add milk and cream mixture,with spices, keep stirring and cook for 4-5 minutes until it thickens. (Add little milk if its too thick) Pour the sauce over chicken,sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, cover and let it melt for 4-5 minutes a low heat, garnish with coriander and chilli flakes.
