I would have loved that when I school, I think it was a sweet idea. We used to have lots of USAF bases near us and I enjoyed their celebrations!

I was in England in the 90's when I was 13 & I *almost* wished a happy 4th of July until my parents stepped in & stopped me. I forgot! lol😂

To be honest as a Brit I was Never educated on the 4th of July or what happened because we don’t care. Americans seem to think it effects us.😂😂
