Tropical Storm Lowell, Remnant Low Karina, Remnant Low Marie, Cloud Cluster No. 1 & 2 and Tropical Disturbance 1🌀 (Lowell absorbed Karina's Remnants but Lowell is slowly weakening while Marie is also weakening while TB Invest 96E has 90% in 7 Days to become full fledged Tropical Depression!) || Song: WOCKSHOPZ FUNK - Super Slowed Information for Tropical Storm Lowell🫠: (from CPHC) Post-storm safety: Follow advice of local officials and avoid areas of downed power lines and flooding. Ensure generators are properly ventilated and placed outside at least 20 feet away from dwellings and garages to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. During clean up, be careful when using chainsaws and power tools. Drink plenty of water to avoid heat exhaustion. Large waves will continue to produce life-threatening surf and rip current conditions during the next day or so along exposed coasts of the Hawaiian Islands. Proxy-visible satellite and water vapor imagery show that Lowell has continued to deteriorate as the cyclone has been adversely affected by dry air and wind shear. The center of the cyclone has moved underneath an area of deep convection that has formed recently, however the bulk of the convection is on the northern side of the circulation. Recent subjective Dvorak intensity estimates are 45–55 knots, while the objective intensity estimates are lower in the range of 41–46 knots. Since earlier scatterometer data showed stronger winds than suggested by the satellite estimates, the initial intensity is only lowered to 65 mph (55 knots) for this advisory. Information for Remnant Low Karina🫠: No More Information about RL Karina :( Information for Remnant Low Marie🫠: (from NHC) Marie's satellite presentation has degraded since the previous advisory. Infrared satellite imagery depicts very weak remnant convection in the southeast quadrant, while visible imagery shows that Marie's low-level center is exposed. The latest subjective Dvorak estimate from TAFB classified Marie's intensity as 35 mph (30 knots), while objective analysis from UW-CIMSS generally ranged from 25–36 knots. Given the most recent satellite trends, Marie's initial intensity has been lowered to 40 mph (35 knots). The storm is now classified as a post-tropical cyclone due to a lack of deep convection. The initial motion was estimated at 300/8 knots. Marie is expected to turn more northwestward as it finds itself wedged between a cut-off low descending from the northeast Pacific and a high pressure system centered over the southwestern US. Little was changed to the most recent NHC track forecast, which reflects only a slight leftward shift to bring the official track slightly closer to HCCA. Information for Cloud Cluster No. 1 & 2: No Information Yet. Information for Tropical Invest 96E (mistaken as Disturbance 1 :() (from NHC) Invest 96E is currently located southwest of Mexico. The system has a 70% chance of developing into a tropical depression or tropical storm in the next 2 days, and a 90% chance in the next 7 days. What is an Invest? An Invest is an area of disturbed weather that is under investigation for its potential to develop into a tropical depression or tropical storm. Central Portion and West Portion of the East Pacific: Recent satellite-derived winds indicate an elongated area of low pressure located several hundred miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula does not have a closed surface circulation yet. The associated shower and thunderstorm activity is showing some signs of organization, and further development of this system is expected. A tropical depression is likely to form during the next couple of days while it moves generally west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. #weatherupdate #tropicalstorm #cloudcluster #remnantlow #fyp
