That’s not CHANGING your oil. You just added oil. To change it you need to drain the old oil out from the plug underneath and THEN refill

step 1: jack the car up step 2: pop the hood, unscrew the oil cap step 3: go under the car and find the oil pan step 4: unscrew the drain plug

did u change the filter amd oil first. new oil might effect the old.
