Smart! I never did Etsy for all the reasons you’re talking about. Selling to stores is my gig. Then it’s just restocking - and that’s pretty easy.

Keep in mind, Etsy always ranks high on searches. Websites = can be difficult, but not impossible.

Honestly it can be a scary jump to go to 100% your own site but once you jump in it feels much better. I’m so glad I have my own site and don’t worry

Every realization you have is correct. Also Etsy is THE BRAND. You don’t want that. I also closed my Etsy store. I didn’t want to be an “Etsy” desiger
