Yes! My mom & us would sit down at the table on Wednesday evenings,to talk about “things”, good or bad. We had the option to request to talk alone.

LITERALLY EVERYTHING WAS ABOUT MY GRADES. And my grades sucked because my parents didn’t believe the doctor when she said I have ADHD. 🙄
