However, tensions among the members, driven by clashing personalities and creative differences, led to their decision to disband in 1968. They released their final album, Goodbye (1969), which included the hit "Badge," co-written by Clapton and George Harrison. After their breakup, all three members pursued successful solo careers, with Clapton achieving global stardom. Cream briefly reunited for a series of concerts in 2005 at London's Royal Albert Hall and New York's Madison Square Garden, delighting fans and reasserting their legendary status.
