That’s down to poor design. Never seen a roundabout where a left arrow was for 2 exits.

i just asked my instructor about this and he said she was right on taking the middle lane but she should’ve returned to left hand lane straight away

It depends on your test route also, my test route in London only has 3 directions on the round about, left straight and right.

left lane can be used to go 2nd exit. at first I saw the first exit but makes sense to use the left lane .

Ah yeah the arrow on road looks like it's a complete left as you come to roundabout, so would be first left.. But a 2nd left, is the next one up
