my dog had the exact same cough. every vet said it was kennel cough, but it lasted for years. turns out it was a heart murmur and she died this year.

I AM A VET TECH - just bc your dog is vax for KC, they can still get it!! doesn’t matter what strain it is! go to the vet, get doxy & keep your dog

My dog got it a few months ago from the groomers, he’s got all his shots bordatella etc and the cough is scary sometimes sounds like choking-

No, kennel cough always has less bad strains that we don’t vaccinate for. It is a milder version. It’s like the flu 👏
