A slightly different angle to look at this is: I had a pastrami sandwich at Katz 10 years ago. It was outstanding and I have no memory of the price.

I was in NYC for a week.I had that sandwich every day, along with matzo ball soup, latkes, half sours, and rugelach 😋! Well worth it!

The meat takes about 30 days to cure. The sandwich is huge, and the quality is there. Well worth it. Ppl don’t know what they’re talking about lol

Totally agree. Cooking brisket like that isn't easy. The meat is amazing and the bread is made on Arthur Ave.. only in NYC.
