It’s mostly because pressure on your ribs but most deaths in it are because it’s often by the sea and when the tide comes in people drown

it not that quick sand drowns u it's that it u can't breath because the quicksand presses into your chest choking u out

it's not the quick sand it's the fact your stuck, tides change quickly and it can be difficult to get help if someone notices

Nooo don’t even last yr I went to Scotland and me and my friend got stuck in quicksand and I was so scared I thought I was gonna die 😭😭

Its dangerous because eventhough it doesn’t fully sumbmerge you the pressure on your chest will eventually stop you from breathing 💀

I’ve seen a video of a man trying to show how to escape quick sand but ye was fully submerged and couldn’t get out, he died
