As a first year law student in Australia I cannot fathom how normalised unpaid internships are! It is essentially modern slave labour 😩

In canada you get paid. Only 25-30$ an hour but still over 15K for the summer. But its also not recommended to work during school year

Government internships are unpaid in the states? In Canada student jobs with the government pay a few dollars more than minimum wage.
