see I disagree. ever since I've gotten a chip card it's been nothing but trouble. never had a problem with the stripe reader

As a merchant, I prefer tap to pay. It is convenient and faster than the chip.

At the grocery store I manage our chip and wireless are not the most reliable and often requires you to swipe after 3 failed attempts

I've been on this earth for nearly 3 decades been all over the UK and have never once seen someone swipe their card its always been chip and pin 😂
