A new thing I’ve been doing before games is rather than meditating, it’s reading the verse of the day and having quiet time with God 10 minutes before we start warmups. It’s been a key part of my pregame routine as it helps keep a better mindset through all my struggles and I thought I could share this with you guys. Alligning faith and your passion especially with sports is hard and I hope this helps in a way. I definitely struggle and I think it’s something that people should know because not everyone is perfect. However I do hope this helps because it’s been helping me stay positive and out of my own head during games, after wins, and more importantly after losses. I’m going to start doing these everyday now to try and help other Christian athletes and keep myself accountable, hope you enjoy this series.
