سب کچھ خدا کے حوالے کرنے کے بعد کافی دیر بیٹھ کر میں نے اپنی خالی ہتھیلیاں دیکھیں۔ عجیب سا سکون تھا اور عجیب سی اداسی بھی۔ جیسے برسوں سے تھاما ہوا بوجھ آخر کار دل سے اتر گیا ہو۔ میں نے اپنی دعائیں اپنی خواہشیں اپنی شکایتیں اور اپنے ٹوٹے ہوئے خواب بھی اُسی کے سپرد کر دیے تھے۔ پھر جب ہاتھوں کی طرف دیکھا تو وہ خالی ضرور تھے مگر دل پہلے سے ہلکا تھا۔ تب احساس ہوا کہ ہر چیز کو تھامے رکھنا ضروری نہیں ہوتا کچھ چیزیں خدا کے حوالے کر دینا ہی بہتر ہوتا ہے۔ کیونکہ جن معاملات کو ہم سنبھال نہیں پاتے انہیں وہ بہت خوبصورتی سے سنبھال لیتا ہے۔ اب نہ ضد باقی ہے نہ کسی کو پانے کی بے قراری۔ ... بس یقین باقی ہے کہ جو میرے حق میں ہوگا وہ مجھے ضرور ملے گا اور جو نہیں ملا وہ کبھی میرا تھا ہی نہیں۔ اس لیے آج بھی جب دل تھک جاتا ہے میں سب کچھ خدا کے حوالے کر کے اپنی خالی ہتھیلیوں میں سکون تلاش کر لیتی ہوں۔
