I used to use bleach as well. Now I use dawn + baking soda + borax and my whites come out great

It’s the blue color in the dawn that makes whites bright. In the Caribbean we use a blue calk in our whites to brighten it.

So my he front load owners manual says “never dish soap”.. I guess cuz it’s not designed to eliminate/rinse the amt of suds/residue it produces 😔

I use dawn, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to make a paste to remove yellow underarm stain on whites. Like magic!!!

Clorox has never yellowed my whites and that's why I don't use off brands. Persil, Clorox, baking soda, and a little cleaning vinegar. 🤩

It’s the blue dye in the dawn. It counteracts the yellowing, there’s also a product called “liquid blueing” that does the same thing on Amazon

the trick is to use bleach but wash in cold water. this will keep the bleach from turn an orange color when it mixes with detergent

Do not put that much dawn in your washer without adding an extra rinse. You’re very lucky if it got all the soap out especially with 2 pods
