You just need to let it air dry and don’t brush dry and make sure it’s moistured. You got wavy hair, not curly. And a big tooth comb, not brush.

look for wavy hair products, only brush when wet, get some sort of sea salt spray or lightweight product (water/gel based not cream), scrunch & plop.
