all well and good if the blockwork is plumb and true though I very much doubt it! 6sheets 4bags of dab and about an hour 🤷 and a flat wall later 👍🏻

Battened walls are so much better then dot and dab as your gonna be quicker using a screw gun rather than solid dabs round each board

Just paint over the blockwork with a 1” brush. But you’ll have to tear down all that batton first 🤦♀️

600 centers for standard wall. 400 centers for kitchen and bathrooms that carry tiles and units.Dot and dab on a thermalite wall.

Would have that whole wall dot & dabbed by the time you’ve screwed all those battens on. Or as it’s light weights you could use mega stick foam screws

Cant rely on the wall being flat and level. Then you have to mess about packing out the battons. Dot at dab probably quicker and cheaper if you ask me
