praying and reading the Qur'an is a difficult chore, that's what I used to think, I never looked at the Qur'an as something essential for my day-to-day life, I never looked at the Salah as something that could give me the contentment of the heart, but by the Grace of Allah عزوجل He allowed me to taste a fragment of the sweetness of Ibādah. He gave me a portion of understanding of the meaning of the Qur'an, although small, but I could feel the greatness and the eloquence of the Qur'an. it came to the point where it almost feels like reading a fiction story, and getting goosebumps as I continue reading it, (the Qur'an) with the difference that is, they are true story of the people of the past. how God destroyed the wrongdoers without a single difficulty, إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَـٰمِدُونَ All it took was one blast, and they were extinguished at once. 36:29 how God had mercy upon those who try to enjoin good, قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ He said, “If only my people knew of how my Lord has forgiven me, and made me one of the honourable.” 36:26-27 God. Allah تعالى speaking to us. I believe the thought of the Greatness of a God and a Creator is not pondered upon enough, even as Muslims. I realised that all I was lacking was understanding, the second that we try to understand the meaning and the wisdom behind the Qur'an and the Sunnah, we will achieve unimaginable peacefulness and contentment, and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest bit. if we all could put the slightest effort to understand the deen of Allah, Allah will guide us through it with no difficulty.
