My Diesel is very dramatic and SCREAMS when the Vet tries to trim his nails. I order strong nail files on Amazon and file his nails. He tolerates it.

Even with trimming monthly our pit’s nails always look long as hell because pitty quicks are so damn long and they grow like crazy!

My rescue needs to be under anesthesia at the vet to get to his nails. 💸 Nail trims in any form are a hard pass for his old self! 🤷🏼♀️

One of my dogs hated it SO bad when I tried to trim his, that he started biting his own nails. 😂 He keeps them short. 🤷🏼♀️Tried once as a pup.

I used to do grooming and a lot of dogs were better for the groomer than the family. My dog is the same, but she's tiny so it's much easier.
