If you paint over using paint remover the acids from it go into the metal and after few months the paint starts to mess up

also after you spray or wipe the remover on, you can use a pressure washer and it just sprays off super easy too

the aircraft remover also comes in a spray can and works just as good. I used it on some fully spraypainted chrome rims and they were shining new

I’ve used a dab of aircraft remover on my tires to get rid of overspray once and the rubber got thin too
